My name is Greyson Sanchez-Hall, and I write under SH Grey.
I don't focus much on labels, but the ones that apply to me are as follows — Latino, Transgender man, Gay, Disabled haver of CPTSD and OCD, Christian currently at home in the Presbyterian (PCUSA) church, Cat dad, Husband... probably more, but I think you get the idea.
Really, I'm just a dude living in Wyoming. I moved here after being raised in rural east Tennessee, because I was born in Colorado, but couldn't afford it at 18 (or now for that matter). Now after living here for ten years, I want to make this a better place to live, whether Wyoming stays home or not. I met my husband here, we've rented the same rundown duplex for 8 years, and raised a handful of pets together. Life found us in Wyoming, and I love it, despite the challenges.
I have worked a lot of jobs, tried a bit of everything that would hire me, and now I review books, write poetry, and nonfiction pieces mostly on faith and queerness. My reviews focus largely on queer and Christian literature, because my whole personality is my queerness, and my constant state of mild faith crisis. I like to think this is a space where queerness and faith can come together in the full picture of human life. I am not just a Queer Christian dude, but mostly that sums it up well.
